A SNAPSHOT INTO MOORLAND STUDIOS 

Moorland Studios is a family-run business, established by Kevin Parsons in 2005. 

As a photographer himself, he knows first-hand how challenging it can be to find a quality photography or film studio for hire in Worcester and the Midlands. 

With Moorland Studios, you can thrive in the beautiful facilities and location. Located just off the M5 in Worcester, it’s easy to access and has all major amenities you need on your doorstep. 

However, what makes Moorland Studios so unique is its remote rural surroundings. Despite being easy to get to off the motorway, it’s very secluded, making it perfect for shoots that want to go under the radar.  

Right from the get-go, Moorland Studios has prided itself on providing a relaxing space which allows clients to get creative and be innovative with their photography or filming project.

This was achieved by getting involved in every stage of the process. From day one, Kevin worked closely with the architect to turn an old riding school into a leading commercial photography/film studio in the Midlands. 

Every brick and every square foot of the 12,000 was carefully planned to provide the best experience for clients.

You’ll find a reception, dining area and three purpose-built studios all under one roof.

There was also room for an onsite workshop and large prop store to make the business self-sufficient. This makes it possible for businesses like yours to bring your vision to life in real-time, without delays.

In a bid to keep things environmentally-friendly, a harvest rainwater system and reed bed were installed to save water off the roof, while recycled materials continue to be used to make various props.

Having graduated in photography from Salisbury Art College in 1989 and worked in a studio environment from day dot, Kevin knows what it takes to capture the perfect shot. 

Whether you need some guidance on lighting or want a last-minute prop making, Kevin is there to accommodate your needs.  

It’s not just a case of giving you access to one of our photography and film studios, from the minute you arrive you’ll enjoy an incredible service with a personal, family touch. 

His passion paired with the studio facilities creates an environment which inspires clients to think bigger and bolder. It’s a real cocktail of creativity.

When you arrive at Moorland Studios’ Worcester site, you won’t just meet one member of the Parsons family, you will probably meet them all.

Unlike other studios for hire in the Midlands, Moorland Studios delivers a tailored touch to its clients, treating everyone with the same respect as they would each other.

The first integral member of the team is Kevin’s wife, Karen. Working as head of house, she’s there to make sure everything runs swimmingly well behind the scenes. From sourcing all of the props you need for the set beforehand to arranging the sets throughout the day, she’ll do anything you need to enhance your experience with Moorland Studios. 

Their three children, Maddie, Aleesha and Dexter live and breathe the business too. So, if Kevin is out joyriding on his tractor or is getting his hands dirty in the workshop making sets, they’re there to help. 

You may also notice Kevin and Karen’s unofficial fourth child running around – Ezra the dog. Unfortunately, he won’t serenade you with a sing-song like his namesake George Ezra, but he’s happy to dish out plenty of licks and receive unlimited tummy tickles!
